grid - inclined glass

I noticed that revit would not seem able to direct the grid.as seen in the attached image there are two roofs (both with a hole in top) that end with a sloping glass.
if you look at the roof on the right has obvious errors of construction.

if I understand you want to turn the grids,

it is enough to turn the grids of the inclined glass of 45°

instance property - grid 1 and grid 2 and change the angle.

to me, instead, would like to know the criterion how to make a cover like that placed in the first images.
ie a cover "divided" in two parts: the lowest conventional (pyramidal), the highest in the glazed pyramid

gambling a hypothesis: creating two distinct levels, where on the first place the lower part of the cover (piramidal tape) and on the second the highest one in glass.
Is that correct?
