to me not from many problems; only some crashes with some parts during pack and go but nothing more.
consider that however I have installed it directly with this service pack...

I tried to uninstall and reinstall but doesn't change much... .
boh we wait for the next royal and that God send us good.....

Good morning. I am new to the forum, and to tell the truth I wrote myself to find a solution to the problems that I am experiencing after formatting the pc and having installed on windows 7 the educational version of sw 2015 sp04. before formatting I had the same version, but I came from the educational edition 2014 (sp05), and everything was smooth. Now the problems that we encounter are essentially the following:
impossible to choose any component of the toolbox (this error message: 'failed to create toolboxlibrary object'), resulting in automatic start of the toolbox configuration procedure, but completely useless as the next invocation of the toolbox the error is repeated;
errors in the sizing of the toolbox components in old assemblies at their opening, with associated a message of this type: 'impossible to load the dll gdtanalysissupport.dll of solidworks'.
I add that the same problems I found them in the 2015 sp2.1 version, so before installing the last service pack.
discarding around I read that some problems can arise from the installation of a windows patch (kb3072630) exit in the current month of July; I tried to uninstall it, but nothing changed, unfortunately.. .
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Have you tried to correct the installation?
I when I had installed the 2015 sp04 with renewed license they made me wrong the licenses and I had all other stuff for more expired in January. In summary someone else's license went overwrite to mine (let's take into account).
However assistance remotely first had corrected my license correctly paid and then with a fix of the installation other problems resolved.

I have the update that you have made but as mentioned above I have no problem.. .

Have you tried to correct the installation?
I tried to fix the installation, uninstalling by properly cleaning the registry entries and reinstalling from scratch... all that at the level of user without too much experience I could do, I did. I don't know what fish you want, sincerely.
I have the update that you have made but as mentioned above I have no problem.. .
I fear strongly that some update windows (do all together after formatting, before installing solidworks, since I have a dvd oem pre-sp1 of windows 7...) is responsible for the casino.

Unfortunately gorea I see that you have also created problems......the assistance told me to wait for the next service pack, and I confirm that the problem is that update of windows you mentioned that creates problems....we wait and see... .

I would tell the lords of the dassault to give time to their programmers to stabilize the news before sending around garbage stands, but instead there is no already coming 2016....with who knows which other bug.....roba from crazy

Hi.

Maxopus... .
I'm not rotten, but I'm a very incazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz solid user is since the 2008 version that the problems aren't solved but amplify....maybe you haven't noticed or maybe you have a super hot machine or maybe I don't know I'll make you a small list of the anomalies that I encounter, after being passed to sp04 without doing anything except say yes to the update:

- Extreme graphic clarity
-try to select with the control button two handles before the coupling menu appeared now no
-open the repeat menu; appears and disappears the first line becomes black then click on it and everything back normal
- error at departure does not find dwg libraries
- error when leaving does not find dll file
- error at the start error your installation is corrupt
-not repair installation
- try to make a data table in excel with a test formula if you can it is since 2008 that I have no huge bug system

and so forth

Bye-bye

Hi.
I try to make the diagnosis:
1) PC problems (graphic)
2) PC problems (graphic)
3) PC problems (graphic). It seems impossible but it is.
4-5-6-7 ) format
8) we handle dense straps with formulas (and springs...and many other details, and the only problem we had is with international settings, point or comma? ).

according to me...form and reinstall. You'll see everything's gonna be okay then.

Hi, Teseo, my obviously was a joke.
I haven't used swx since 2006, except for a couple of sporadic things.
I use the cad that bad and bad, which costs a little more (poco), that does not have the multibody, that does not want to know anything about using the graphic libraries of microzozz.
I have 2 old workstations with 8 and a half years of life on my shoulders with xp64 and grinding 15,000 hours of work each.
change 6 versions of the above cad and never a problem.
installed up to 3 versions simultaneously and never a problem of stability worthy of note.
that tell you, there are cad and cad and the difference is also in these things. I don’t have to worry about multiple installations or having to format the machine because the windows system log is not touched by the application.

it would be interesting to know how long a machine lasts on average because of updates and how much time you lose to "laugh" it because of a version change.

in the previous office I had installed 3 versions of solids for stars behind the needs of customers and I had no wonder what problems, neither in installation, nor in updates, nor in libraries, toolboxes or other.

It can be massive, but something more complicated is there, otherwise they would not explain all these discussions here and on the other side none.

the dll problem solve it by restoring the installation from framework control panel.
success to me this afternoon.

I have never had all these problems and I have new machines, but also old machines that work dignifiedly with medium-large assemblies. 2015 is not very stable, but it is the first version so after a few years (I install minimum with the service pack 3.0, not before).

it would be interesting to know how long a machine lasts on average because of updates and how much time you lose to "laugh" it because of a version change.
I'll give you an example. I shaved it a 6 months ago because I took away the old sas disk at 15,000 to install a ssd. the machine still had the installation of the ox of dell and it is of 2010.
it is not a problem of swx, often formatting is required because the user installs everything and the pc slows down, but the fault is of the user, you can not prevent a pc and expect it to run.
not to mention the hardware.... there are people who continue to complain about graphics and then have vga entry level of gaming... but certifications for what do they do to her?
the pc that I have at home and that I use to work from home is a core 2 duo of 2008 with 8 gb of ram and picture fx 1700 and ssd from 256. turns very well in the norm, sits with mega assemblies, but on this point I have seen that I create sit in the same way (I also think before)

ok maxopus excuse I didn't understand the joke....:frown:

but by curiosity that you use.... you never know
