I am new to the forum, and to tell the truth I wrote myself to find a solution to the problems that I am experiencing after formatting the pc and having installed on windows 7 the educational version of sw 2015 sp04. before formatting I had the same version, but I came from the educational edition 2014 (sp05), and everything was smooth. Now the problems that we encounter are essentially the following:
impossible to choose any component of the toolbox (this error message: 'failed to create toolboxlibrary object'), resulting in automatic start of the toolbox configuration procedure, but completely useless as the next invocation of the toolbox the error is repeated;
errors in the sizing of the toolbox components in old assemblies at their opening, with associated a message of this type: 'impossible to load the dll gdtanalysissupport.dll of solidworks'.
I add that the same problems I found them in the 2015 sp2.1 version, so before installing the last service pack.
discarding around I read that some problems can arise from the installation of a windows patch (kb3072630) exit in the current month of July; I tried to uninstall it, but nothing changed, unfortunately.. .
Does anyone have a suggestion?
I tried to fix the installation, uninstalling by properly cleaning the registry entries and reinstalling from scratch... all that at the level of user without too much experience I could do, I did. I don't know what fish you want, sincerely.Have you tried to correct the installation?
I fear strongly that some update windows (do all together after formatting, before installing solidworks, since I have a dvd oem pre-sp1 of windows 7...) is responsible for the casino.I have the update that you have made but as mentioned above I have no problem.. .

I'm not rotten, but I'm a very incazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz solid user is since the 2008 version that the problems aren't solved but amplify....maybe you haven't noticed or maybe you have a super hot machine or maybe I don't know I'll make you a small list of the anomalies that I encounter, after being passed to sp04 without doing anything except say yes to the update:
- Extreme graphic clarity
-try to select with the control button two handles before the coupling menu appeared now no
-open the repeat menu; appears and disappears the first line becomes black then click on it and everything back normal
- error at departure does not find dwg libraries
- error when leaving does not find dll file
- error at the start error your installation is corrupt
-not repair installation
- try to make a data table in excel with a test formula if you can it is since 2008 that I have no huge bug system

I have never had all these problems and I have new machines, but also old machines that work dignifiedly with medium-large assemblies. 2015 is not very stable, but it is the first version so after a few years (I install minimum with the service pack 3.0, not before).Maxopus... .

I'll give you an example. I shaved it a 6 months ago because I took away the old sas disk at 15,000 to install a ssd. the machine still had the installation of the ox of dell and it is of 2010.it would be interesting to know how long a machine lasts on average because of updates and how much time you lose to "laugh" it because of a version change.
