returning to the initial question, other roads to export a model that can only serve for the bulk, mounts etc. are there not?

I intend to export a model that does not contain the inside of the same, so that no one can copy anything.

We solved it here in our own way:
we place inside the iam a full body ( .ipt brick - as we call it) covering everything that should not be seen.
we turn everything into step and send it to the applicant. so doing all the outside, the fixing holes, colors, etc. remain well visible but also sezionandolo inside you see everything full.

How come this choice?
using the simplified part is so difficult?

thanks to the mauri
I think I will follow your methodology, in the background is a little what I'm already doing, that is, doing a "simplified" set to share it.
Good day

I repeat this debate again because I am trying to make a simplified part of a group.

My problem is that one of the parts of the axieme does not appear, and it serves.

in the browser there is the alarm icon, but there is no text or anything else explaining what the problem is.

igo browser imageIPT semplificato.webpAny suggestions?

I tried to make a single solid, both with joints and separate, and it gives me the problem.
If I keep separate solids doesn't bother me, I don't really like the fact that they're split solids.

the best thing is to pass the converted file in neutral format (step,stl...) in this way transfer only the external enclosure of objects

wrong, you carry exactly your model.
proof is that you use those formats to exchange files between different cads.
if as you say you see only the outer casing as they would do, for example, the foundries to realize bodies with internal ducts?

I was about to write it...
I if I want to send only the outer casing use the derivative by stopping the holes (but putting the axes, or the ribbon "simplifies"

zac can you explain better step by step what you do? What is the ribbon? and then what would the ribbon be? 1666943268720.webp

In the end, since divulging too rich models of info does not like anyone, I also put myself to do some tests, of course you have to find the most convenient way, the one first quicker and do your own case. I have to say that according to me simplified contour could help, transforming everything into surface and eliminating with exclusions/include already components not of interest to third parties and sometimes flagging also remove internal parts or fill all internal blanks 1666943751424.webpI attach comparisons to make the idea better.

Now I have to understand what the twin command differs alongside "simplified contour replaced" because of course even if written in Italian I doubt that any normodota mind can understand it from the explanation they give.

ps: I am convinced that they would sell at least double the licenses if they tried a lot more to help the user what the program asks!
