I've been going on a lot lately to find companies that use unto date software.

both talking about inventor and other software, I found companies with versions 2012 for example, other even older.

I wonder why a company decides not to keep an important work tool up to date, especially since we do not talk about high figures for renewals.

What do you think?
and what do you think of a company that adopts this policy?

because not all companies believe in the importance of keeping their software up to date. in the last company where I worked was used inventor 2011 even craccato!

that the costs are low you think, but instead each company can get different convictions. to me sincerely seems a very careful and oculated point of view. I'll tell you that in companies where I go, I'll almost never find the latest version of the software, even because being behind the updates is a loose cannon on productivity.

much depends, always in my opinion, on who uses it. if it is one of those designers who have an associate method of work and are not willing to change it then perhaps your speech is worth, I personally always evaluate the new functions and in case use.

I guess you're right.

I do not agree on the price speech, sooner or later you go to buy the license because it is too obsolete, at that point you spend in a blow perhaps more than you would have spent in 4/5 years.

Who, how, when?... to me a thousand hards are not enough, it takes 1400, and they are not few.
