I am brand new to this forum - and to advanced cad problems - and therefore I wonder if the question was naive or ot.
are looking for a solution to create many different "configurations" of assembly of components. I asked cad expert users who showed me how solid works does it, with an embedded xl sheet in the program. It's fine, though.
However for a) the number and nature of the components and b) the number and variability of the configurations, resulting from complex algorithms, programming the operation "on board" is absolutely unlikely.
Question 1. would it be possible to pilot in real time by means of the results of our algorithm by providing them to the xl leaflet of solid works - appropriately formatted?
Question 2. Otherwise, what other solution would be possible? I am thinking of a system of simple imports from one cad to another (or from one document to another of the same cad)? always using our positioning data (point frames or more tern point of rotation) imported from an external database? package suggestions suitable for this second option?
