help! offset command no longer working!

I don't know if I pressed some strange key, but now when he asks me to select the curve even if the selector keeps me saying "select the curve", as if I hadn't selected anything. .

doing "offset -> right button on the line" I saw that "closed line selection" was unchecked. I selected the option and roa goes!
