Good morning to all,

I'm sorry but I've been on something I've already done a lot of times on my laptop but now it's in repair...

on autocad 2011 I inserted an ole object in the model space (a bitmap image) that will simply constitute the logo of a header and now I would like to resize it by acting on the grip but do not want to know to vary the size and also I would like to move it with the move command and do not move!

The only thing I can do and delete it and reinsert it.

Help!

Thank you.

I press that the insertion of an image in the form of ole consider it as the absolute negation of the cad, but, apart from this, why don't you insert the image directly into the design as a raster image reference? you can scale, move, rotate, in short, much more manageable than the ole. we agree, it always stays outside of a drawing, like any reference file, but with a nice etransmit solve the problem, if you have to send the dwg to other people.

thanks for the advice, however for storage convenience I prefer to have the image stored within the dwg, and as I have already done it other times I don't understand why now I can't anymore...

Thank you.

I don't know and I don't even want to know!! you continue to use the technology of the 1990s; I will not have any problems of this kind ;)

e questo che c'entra scusa?
You said 90-year-old aanies. . .

apart from this I tried with raster image but now it no longer makes me select the images to be able to edit them back. . Why?? and if I don't reset the scale ratio to the first step in the insertion phase?

Maybe that's why confutatis told you to put them as raster.. .
You're totally right, I don't argue.

at the end I had to export the boards in pdf (I have removed the problem of external reference).

However, I am arguing that it is possible to do the same with ole objects since I have always done it, but we must understand what variables are to be touched but time is always tyrant. . .

thanks to all

Sorry, I finally got it. just insert the ole object as a bitmap image.
of course remaining the system variables you have mentioned.
