I don't know if this is the right section and I apologize if I'm wrong. I wanted to know if there are special regulations that apply to motorized sivieres.
I am asking as a buyer and not as a manufacturer to which certifications for use have been requested, indicating it to us as a subsidy equipment and to which it has been replied that such equipment is not considered such without specifying under which rules this machinery falls.

What do you mean by motorized visuals? ?

I'd say if it's motorized, it's a car.
there is the en 1247:2004+a1:2010 if you are interested.

if you put it under the hook it is probably not a lifting accessory (contains material) but if it has motorized furniture elements it is a machine.

a siviera (refractory container that serves the transpoor of the liquid metal in the foundry) the motorized version has a pneumatic system for the rotation for the emptying in the handle that the operator can stay at a safety distance from the liquid metal using a pushbutton . many siviere with capacities of about 3 tons have a manual system of rotation and comuque my query invests also this ultratime.

the requested manufacturer does not consider it a sub-gancian equipment .. for us instead it would be , because the handling of the same always happens with the chariot. I wanted to know if there is a specific norm for the prohibitions that excludes them from the ceritifications inherent in the subgaining equipment.

is not a lifting accessory because the load is not free to move in space (it is bound inside).
for the bridge crane instead the siviera is the cargo!

I can't help you, 'that the smaller siviera with which I had to deal is from 60 tons and its opening is made with the auxiliary hook of the chariot
However, if it is motorized, you have to consider it machine and behave accordingly.

it is consulted the norm in question and the siviera would be ..the load
uni en 1247-2010 .
for info we use the siviera in channel furnaces only for start-up (channel filling) .
