Hello everyone

premise
in the company we design with inventor, we mainly deal with conveyor belts, automatic elevators and everything that concerns the handling of the products.
We would like to introduce ourselves to our customers with animations that simulate the production process in order to make clear our proposals as well as to engineers also to accounting.
the result that my company would like to get is an average quality video, it does not affect 100% realism of the materials of our products and simplicity (speed) of realization as they are videos to attach to estimates, therefore free. Moreover being to be realized in phase of study surely are to be remade several times before arriving to the result that the customer wishes.
I immediately proposed showcase because I had seen some great works and had talked about it very well for simplicity of use and compatibility with inventor. But I found out they don't distribute it anymore.

questions
What do you think of inventor studio 2018? Could it be an alternative to showcase?
3ds max seemed too complex to use even if the results are amazing for realism....me confirmed?
other software (also not autodesk) as an alternative to showcase?

Yes, if I have to show something that doesn't move, or I don't care to move, I use it directly on the model, turning around and recording.
If you need the set to move, prepare the sequence with study and then register with screencast.
study allows you to record, but it is heavy to manage and requires you to prepare well set of frames etc.
If you want something quick and simple, there is nothing better, you can do postproduction, add sounds and talk, depends on what is the result you want to get.

Now I understand...
the aspect I'm interested in highlighting in the video is the handling of the product (boxes, trays, or other) over the various conveyor belts or elevators.
with this solution I could move a product over each tape and make a tape video with screencast....poi merge everything with some video software.
I'll get some evidence.

there is already an integrated editor, basic but, for what costs, you cannot expect more.

when I go to make video instructions, for assembly of pieces, I use the presentation function of inventor 2018,
is a good compromise between quality and speed of execution.
I also performed videos with 3dsmax, but the game is not worth the candle for me.
