hi guys, I wanted to ask you if any of you use sw with workbooks placed on google drive. I've been doing this recently with two jobs. This strange thing happened to me. work in both locations with the same version of sw and set perfectly in the same way. the only difference is that in one I have win7 and in the other win10. opening today the model in the one with win10 I saw that there were missing components and that sw therefore asked me to look for them. Then I saw that they were just deleted from the workbook. I didn't delete them obviously. Did you happen to yourself? in case you solved it?

I repeat the discussion x say that the problems I encountered with googledrive, both with sw and with autocad, were due to gogledrive! I don't know x what reason but drive didn't handle file saves well with real-time updates of the folder you are working on. I noticed in particular by drawing in autocad where I always encountered failure to save the file with creating temporary files within the workbook. I bought dropbox that is definitely higher. so if you are going to work on the cloud, go to the safe.. .

I use dropbox completely downloading everything in the two pcs I work with. Actually the folders are already contained in both disks and dropboxes does nothing but synchronize them egregiously. in the case of conflict sends a signal and still holds both versions.

Good morning, I successfully experienced the file storage system with dropbox. synchronization is almost instantaneous and I detect an increase in working speed as each pc has stored all dropbox folders locally.
I will experiment with this other system : bitbucket, which seems equally promising, but free as it is available to space and up to 5 users.
As soon as I have news, I will share it.
