I have to do aerospace design exam assisted in the computer, so whatever goes well.. from the extraction of the detail from the overall to the modeling of an overall

No. but on grabcad, which you have already linked, you find hundreds of totals. download them and remodel them from scratch taking the measures directly from the 3d

Oh, I didn't know. How can I take measures from 3d? is this the step files by chance? I am not practical of these things

I know how to use it for creating pieces, I never placed the problem of importing and copying. on grabcad I only find .step

If you want to open a .catproduct and take measures of course I know how to do it, but I haven't found it so far.
