- I designed a tubular with the structural member function.
- dx key on the welding/property distinction icon (image-1)
- I added the line of interest n°8 weight etc (image-2)
- I saved the part file as .prtdot
- did this, I opened the prtdot file, I deleted the structural member function and sketch and I saved again as prtdot

it is necessary to create the distinct by activating the welds with. insert>salda
then in the feature manager click on the soldering icon and change the properties

because default is empty. Always. the lines you insert are always propagated to all the voices of the separate cut.
Just make a try: open a part with separate cut already present and compiled, click on this soldering icon and you will find it empty, add us a random but recognizable property and then go to look at all the items of the separate cut... You'll always find the one you just added.
so you have two ways:
1 add the weight property in the template as explained above
2 add the weight property to all library profiles
