What does that mean? you did it in solidworks, you passed it to someone who did it in inventor (from zero I suppose) and now you have it, you or others, made in solid from scratch? or are you all working on imported parts from step/iges? in case, you have converted the steps with recognition functions and find yourself with a mass of subdefined sketches and dozens of functions without logic?

I honestly don't know how he did it, I don't think from scratch, but I think he imported parts from inventor to earn time. Certainly the first version I had started does not suffer from this problem.
of the parts are subdefined, but as already said they are quite neophyte in the field, I was looking for how to make the function statistics. cmq, disabling in the display settings "dynamic highlighting from the graphic window" responds better. I did as you said and a world opened... there are all bearings in very detailed display, which you do not need.. then other pieces that you can safely put lighter... I mean, I have to work a bit, but this is the way. Surely they have drawn differently from how I do, (which I am a seal) and this is the fruit of my inexperience. I'd like to have them. hello to all
work in a study where we use inventor, creo, solidedge and solidworks.... I've been doing everything for two years to make him go as promised by the seller... As far as I'm concerned with barely complex assemblies, modeling time is slow but there can be.
the real problem are the boards of assemblies, if you have to work for good, there will be impossible, there are no solutions, to make a table can take days; tools that make available cannot be used as they would compromise the rules of technical design.
what I think is that now you work through the supplier directly the step, the tables (which should be like the bible) are no longer considered and the software developers do the same; I swear it is since 2016 that every year I promise improvements etc. and every year I find in the forums one or more such discussions....and it is not that the other programs work better.... maybe I create (to speak of listed tables) regarding the modeling depends a lot on the use that makes it
