I am new to this platform, really a great peolpe platform working with cad. I did my mechanical engineering in India. I have 9 months experience in 2d design basic mechanical design and 3d modeling using autocad, solidworks, inventor in india itself. I know only the basic level of Italian. I'm looking for work as a junior mechanical designer. please help me by giving guidelines and tips to find work. it will be very difficult since I am not fluent in Italian and not having much experience in modeling 3 of all suggestions are well accepted. thanks in advance

hello, if you want to stay in Italy I recommend you learn Italian well first of all! (y)
It's a bit rude, even as a technical terminology... good luck!

your Italian, if it is not the result of the google translator, is better than that of some of our parliamentarians. ...I always appreciate the interventions of ale47p and the muzzle of the dog is very nice, but this time could encourage you a little more:).
I don't know the job market in that area of the Veneto, but if you have, and I don't doubt it, the skills you say and a degree in engineering, propose you as a designer cad and, in perspective, designer, seems reasonable.
I hope someone else can give you more targeted information.
definitely does not cost you anything to highlight on monsterjob and other similar sites.
good luck!(y)

There is that peolpe instead of people that made me think it is not google translator

In fact, that peolpe has confused me too. the translator if he finds the initial capital lets you write anything without translating it or correcting it, but still I don't explain it, in the middle of a written period quite correctly. In any case, if you have a good English, like all Indians, it could be an advantage. from us for example many distinct and technical docs are in English or in English+English. but first of all there is the competent use of the cad that, if there is, makes the difference.

thank you for your encouraging words. I used google translator

do not worry, if you have good will you will learn Italian too. in the resume remember to write that you speak and write English, also technical, fluently and even more. in Italy is still rare commodity, in many have stopped to the pen is on the table... .

We found her on the fringe. It's a fire dog.
If she took her to my morbid house, now we live together.
practically won the superenalotto

i totally agree. that's very important. i would write it right on top: madrelingua inglese.
it means that you were born speaking english.
i've been very lucky because i understand very well what people say.
i've always spoke english at work...but actually the level here is very very low.

but don't forget to learn italian. read and speak in italian the more you can...with italians!
and don't be shy. ask, ask, ask.
in my opinion another very good way is to look at some videos in italian with subtitles in italian.
it helped a lot of friends of mine when they were abroad.
there are also good italian courses for foreigners, try to find one that's close to you (y)

i totally agree about the videos, but not just the ones where she says " yes, yes, again...";):p
ciao james
