Bye to all,
in about 10 days the nx1872 version is released (summer 2019 edition).
I make you a quick list of the news, in quite sparse order, regarding the most popular modules - general, modeling, assembly, 2d, pmi, mcd:
- nx is now available (from here on, eh) in token mode
- are available translators inventor, revit, navisworks, had, ifc (yeah!!), 3mf
- improve mcd simulation performance
- including reverse cinematics in mcd (as in animation designer)
- the "shadow lines" has been introduced, creating the 3D encumbrance curve from a point of view.
- in mcd you can directly use the new constraint assembly (i coupling)
- you can export movies in hd
A graphic "what's news" was introduced on the controls... the changing commands have a red ball on the icon
The new visual assist is expanding... the new help.
- file extensions have been grouped in file/open
- new couplers (gear, rack & pinion, cable) were introduced in assembly in addition to those already introduced in 1847 (joint etc)
- the minimal loading was also introduced for nx in native and not only under tc (minimal loading is the streaming functionality during the load)
- jt loading perfoarmances have been improved (3x in native, 9x under tc), making nx practically equal to tcvis in jttura
- improvement of the quality of the import step (I have a couple of use houses... as soon as the official version arrives, I try)
- it's easier to choose the pmi orientation plan
- possibility to set a color "fill" in the pmi so that they are more contrasted than the background and color of the objects
- support of section views arriving from jt and step
- in tdp (pdf3d and jt+pdf) the support for the various pmi views has been increased
- you can directly transmit the information of the new p&id module to the 3d
- possibility to export flat patter directly to tc
- improved the new fly-through
- the vr environment is now more fluid and responsive, as well as having jump features
- improved support for integrated nx awc
- ability to import variant expression from tc product configurator
- the revision rule is now available in the
- the possibility of using 2d textures to be applied on the model as 3d (the 3d is calculated on the basis of the gray scale)
- introduction of the "morph mesh", therefore, possibility to use a technique similar to subdivisions to model the stl (change of cage = change of thestl)

- fit surfaces supports multiple areas (yeah!!! )
- draw cage in realize shape. in practice it is possible to draw super interactively, the cage directly on a stl or other geometry
