Hello everyone, I'm trying to make a revolution cut on a sheet metal tube to be rolled. but the cut does not satisfy me and generates geometries that I can not bring back on the plasma cutting. I would like to be able to make a normal cut in order to have a usable stem.
I put some screens for clarity. Thank you.

I did so with my cad and I think it can be done with sw: I generated the surface of the pipe, I cut it and then I gave it thickness. the result is this tubo.webp

but why don't you train 'you're the ones who have a file?
Why should one recreate a model, with time use, which already exists, perhaps using different functions with different results?[QUOTE="ceschi1959, post: 441041, member: 237"credo che si possa fare anche con SW [/QUOTE]and if it is not possible?

would be perfect if it was always the same edge of the pipe in contact with the cut object. In reality in the area below and on the side towards the center of the "disco" it would be necessary to keep good the outer edge of the tube, while in the remaining part it makes faith the inner edge. even if it is not the most correct solution in this case is always a nice trick to keep aside!

this my result made with solidworks
