Hello, everyone. I also tried with the advanced but only a 2010 discussion appears to me and it is not clear enough for me.
I have a *.drw with a shape made with the sketch. I would like to find it in the palette where are the various forms between star hexagons profiled etc. Because I'd need to extrude on some parts. I can't get anything and I can't even copy/paste.
Does any good soul help me?

Good morning!
If the sketch is created with the controls from the sketch card in drawing I don't think it can be used because it is not parametric.
sketches that can be added in the palette must be in format *.sec. Basically you should create a parametric sketch by doing file, new, sketch, then save it in the location of custom sketches.

the custom sections of the user then can be collected in a specific directory and to be recalled in the sketcher palette just add to the config.pro option 2d_palette_path c:\users\[...percorso completo...]a greeting

Thank you! is that I have ste logo that I put a life to do it in *.sec and opening it in *.drw makes me select and copy it but I can't paste it into the sketch of *.sec .............................. There's no chance to put it on us, is there?

I'm not sure. .
If you expose the drw in dwg or dxf then you can import the sketch into a .sec file?
I also had a logo in the past and I don't honestly remember if to take it to . I had to redesign it as a boss or if I just imported it in dxf and then parameterize it. . .
Maybe try to do this and then let us know

So... .exported to dxf in the sec it matters to me but obviously there are open sections that I correct but in the sec it does not make me clear the lines accidents!

Well, it's already something, it seems strange to me that the lines are not canceled. probably there were imperfections even in the starting design. However without doubt you save time like this, and it will always be better than doing it from scratch.
I still remember tribulation on that logo.

calacc; you are mythical; closing the loops and deleting the advanced lines (I still don't know how I did) I managed!!!! It works. Thanks again. Now I give myself to the welds that those there is no remedy... makes them horrible or does not make them... Isn't that I can send you an asm with 2 prts and try to see you if you can make us a welding cord?

We do not exaggerate:redface:. cmqe I can try, I don't guarantee anything because I used them very little. if you want to send them in private as it is a different topic (I create 1 though...). keep in mind that the welding is governed by a set of configuration parameters not indifferent to both design environment and modeling; therefore the results that can derive in terms of representation/annotation are multiple

the compliments are of obligation; I couldn't really I you know!!! I'll send it to you right now, thank you!

Good morning.
return to this discussion to ask one thing:
I've identified the folder where the sketches of the palette are. I would like to move this folder to make sure you don't lose it with the change of versions of creo.
How can I change the path? from the config?

always from the config.
should be 2d_palette_path

thanks 320is.
So, I'll cover the folder where I'm more attached. then in the config.pro I write:2d_palette_path + the file path
Right?
