Good morning to all, thank you in advance for any help. I have a problem with the fold (band) in the breast that, I created a simple hopper with the surfaces and then with the thickening because I think it is one of the most accurate ways to achieve an optimal result. the problem is that when I join the edges of the faces with the fold(band) so that then I can export the part of the sheet to develop it, it initially makes me the folds without any problem but if I go to change the sizes the folds lose the edge and I have to give it back, I miss something or a bag of inventor? I don't know if it happened to you, too.

Have you tried the hopper command? Can you attach an example file? If I understand correctly I think if you move the fold line you create interference is possible?

Actually to make a hopper the correct way is to use the hopper command, as they have already suggested, and you will see that the problem is resolved. I have made hundreds of hoppers, modifying them, and everything is automatically settled. Actually, I didn't understand how your method would be. However, do a test with the hopper command that works well, never had problems with development errors, the hoppers are perfectly designed.

as you can see from the photos when I bring the size of the sketch and then of the entire hopper to 1000mm the folds lose one of the edges and go in error, and I touch reactivating the fold and give it back the edge.
I don't know if I'm wrong or as usual and an inventor bag.

I don't know what to tell you why this system never used it, since there's a specific command.

I don't know what problem you may have for managing the thickness of the flanges, but my work is 90 % in sheet bending and problems I didn't have. I happen to make welded hoppers but above all screwed (or riveted) and never complained about anyone
create the first piece with sketches (2) to create the hopper, the two openings to understand. we put both with the two square mouths to simplify, the sketches will be two squares so, now change the lines under construction and redesign over only a quarter square. with the hopper command create the clove. Save now 3 more files with name, which will be the other three cloves of the hopper. open the sketches of the other files and change the angle draws to with a not yet done and so on until you do all the adjacent spikes, insert everything in a set, ties the base planes and so you have your starting hopper to which then you will add the various fastening flanges, puncture ect, this obviously in the individual rows of the ears.

if you still want to maintain complete control over the operation instead of making thickening advice to create sketches on the support surface (the automatic projection edges to the creation of the sketch speeds very much the process) and then use the face command (lamiera): in this way the joint folds are created by themselves at the moment and are (it seems from experience) better managed. attention that the order of things counts: therefore, for example, flank dx/side sx/bottom could bring better results by side dx/bottom/side sx. certain "impossible" folds remain such.. .
