Have you tried the hopper command? Can you attach an example file? If I understand correctly I think if you move the fold line you create interference is possible?

Actually to make a hopper the correct way is to use the hopper command, as they have already suggested, and you will see that the problem is resolved. I have made hundreds of hoppers, modifying them, and everything is automatically settled. Actually, I didn't understand how your method would be. However, do a test with the hopper command that works well, never had problems with development errors, the hoppers are perfectly designed.

if you still want to maintain complete control over the operation instead of making thickening advice to create sketches on the support surface (the automatic projection edges to the creation of the sketch speeds very much the process) and then use the face command (lamiera): in this way the joint folds are created by themselves at the moment and are (it seems from experience) better managed. attention that the order of things counts: therefore, for example, flank dx/side sx/bottom could bring better results by side dx/bottom/side sx. certain "impossible" folds remain such.. .
