2d inventor--how to create sampling area

I have to make a filter consisting of a network. Is there any method to make a solid not too heavy?
If this is not possible, by making a solid full, I just have to make a quick note on the table, like the one below, in this case inventor has any known quick command or do I have to do a sketch on the view?

select the view, do a sketch, inside the sketch build a closed area (retangle, ellipse, circle), selections fill, select the type of sampling or filling and close.
