Hello colleagues! are at grips with the design of a couple of trees with profiles channeled to evolving circle. the 3d design I did, the profiles I generated them with the inventor project tool, but I have problems putting them decently on a 2d. I would like the grooved profiles to be represented with the simplified conventional representation rather than highlighting the whole profile and creating a mix of lines in sight that confuse. Is that possible? thank you very much to all!

you can do what you want, when you throw down the drawing in 2d, go on display options delete the display of the lines you do not want if they are included in the list, otherwise the selections and hide them visibility, or all together or once.
I hope I have answered correctly the question you have asked, otherwise you have to explain a little better...

It is a somewhat brigorous solution, however, that is what I intended to be the most effective representation of legislation as an image. if you can do it with inventor or you need something different.
