3d -> 2d

Good to all of you.
I occasionally use microstation as a "motor" of pds but I do not know it in depth as cad " to se".

I would like to ask the following question:
- what is the procedure corresponding to the autocad table (model space / paper space) in microstation?
- in pds we use an application, to generate 2d views by keeping them connected to model 3d. in pure microstation j can you do? and if you like?

currently to make 2d views from model, I carry the 2d file of the clipped view and get a .hln.
then "show" the .hln file with the commands of microstation.
it is not for how to manage the 3d model updates because, in this way, the model is not linked.

I have your own "problem."
Although you use very pure microstation, I do it to model in 3d something that I can not model in pds, and then I will attack as external ref.
not that he didn't make the table, but it's been so many years.......
I just remember that you have to make files > drawing composition > sheet files, settings and parameters I let you find them to you, basically at the end of the fair you get out one or + files "sheet" (sheet) or *.s01, s02, s03 etc. etc. depending on how many views you want to put on the table.
If I put together some ideas and memories I see you updated, unless in the meantime some pious soul didn't think about it for me, or you couldn't do it yourself.

I confirm that the road is that of drawing composition, the 3d is connected as a ref. and changing this also updates the table.
Obviously you can previously save views in the micro file and import these.
In case you have large formats a0 and a1, this road is in my opinion preferable, in fact as for the drawing manager of pds, you systems 3 or 4 views in the sheet.
Today I have done some tests with painful results, from the online micro guide but there is all the history of drawing composition.

I read a bit the guide (I made the mistake of downloading that in Italian.. and I got something.. But it would make my life easier to have a sequence of commands to create the sheet file and the views in it. .
However I wait if you have other info are welcome.

yes I have other info, the problem is to find them (as I told you it is a life that I do not put on the table), to put them together, and then to write them for your benefit but not only.
Sorry, I think you'll have to wait a bit longer, since I was moved to another job today (always 3d), with autocad.
and the first 10 min. have been dramatic, trying to apply micro commands on cad is really hard, eh cacchio............ .
Fortunately I know them both past the period of setting goes well, until I am going back on micro of course.
However, I would like to point out that the fact of working on 2 separate files and not 1 single file as cad presupposes a rigid discipline.
