in the company where they are in internships asked me to create a library of three-dimensional models of their products (approved for radio-television broadcasting) using autocad 2008, and I learned that it is possible to create simple pdf starting from these models (until I tried with the dwg and sat format and seems to work) using adobe acrobat 9 pro extended. pdf file is a three-dimensional read-only model that can be zoomed, rotated etc., I attach an example. Is there anyone who has experience in such situations? what I would like to know exactly is:
1) What other cad programs can be used together with adobe acrobat 9 pro extended?
2) which other programs can I use instead of adobe acrobat 9 pro extended to achieve a similar result?

but whatever advice is good I accept, I am new in the industry and I am moving to tentons. Thank you.

What other programmes?
pro/e saves in pdf 3d format for several years (at least from wf4), without need of any external program.
the axiemi model tree is exported so that it can hide or show the components.

that I know more or less all.

technology has been sold to tetra4d. In fact, from the x version, acrobat is no longer able to do the pdf 3d. I don't think there are cheap software that do the same thing.

Currently the most important 3d cads export to pdf 3d, but the level of detail you can get with tetra 4d should be greater. But if you have autocad, I think the only feasible way is to continue doing as you do now, since it is certainly not worth spending 6000 euros of cad only to be able to export in pdf3d when the tetra4d software costs a thousand.

con 3d are many programs from which you can export in pdf 3d. But as you do now, I think it's okay.
