3d modeling

Good morning, having to carry out a project to please the course of solidworks, I wanted to know where I can find assemblies already realized with respective table to know the quotas of the individual components? in particular I would like to make a 3d printer but I also accept other tips. Thank you in advance.

go on grabcad.com having to find a bunch of 3d models. download one in neutral format (step, iges, parasolid...) , amounts it in solidworks and you find a non-changeable static model.
from that model take the measurements and you destroy it
