Hello, I wanted to ask you an opinion (help) on how to proceed x change my product created with generation sheetmetal design.
I have a product made with sheetmetal, the details are laser cut and then folded with bending machine and until here all right.
Now since the production is increasing we should build molds that from sheet metal frame realize in various steps the various hairstyles, folds, embutitures and all that it serves to make the finished pieces.
Is there a way to be able, starting from my design, to recreate the 3d of all the steps of the molds that I have to create without having to draw everything from new?
I tried to flatten the folds but in many cases I am generated errors because the sequence of the folds was not created with the concept of the mold and I miss the references.
In spite of the length and the unclear exposure of the question, I hope that the problem is understood
thanks x your attention

Did I write some crap?
has no idea what is the best way to proceed to change my product?
Thank you.

I think I understand you want to wreck molds by step.
At this point you have to define the "method" where the various stations are represented, of course that depending on the particular to realize the solutions are multiple.I recommend you to lean on a good methodist and then you will see that with catechism you will have no problem to make such molds.
