hello to all are new to this forum.
I signed up as, being a design fan, I would like to buy a 3d printer.
not knowing almost x nothing the world of 3d printing (part practically from zero) I came across this sitehttp://www.galassia3d.it/galassia-3dwhere they sell a robo3d printer to 1149 euros with shipment and VAT included.
I phoned and would also make me a mini course and would give me manual in Italian x start and software.
Besides, it's close to where I live.
What do you think?

Thank you.

Can't anyone give me any info? ?

I also have another problem, I bought a set of reels, one of plaques and one of abs, I wondered how to verify that a material is exactly what is written in the package (some of my friends happened that they sent some abs that however turned out plausible).
if there is any evidence to do (both mechanical and chemical) while waiting for your information on the printer.
Thank you! !

http://blog.ponoko.com/2012/01/09/makerbot-announces-new-replicator-dual-extrusion-3d-printer-for-pre-order/These are similar and save.combing abroad spends even less!! careful resolution!! 100 microns are few 0.1mm!!
Of course these are very slow and low-resolution 3d printers.
you need to consider what you have to do, what print area you need and what precision. if the end is hobbyist ok, and there are similar to costs still + content.

This type of printers are fdm type ( fused deposition modeling) and can also have double extruder

then there are dlp (digital light processing) at a very + high resolution (25 micron) and very + fast

.. and the professional ... a common type and inkjet that interacts with powders (generally resins) that polymerizing layer ( slice ) after layer make up the item 3d.. of course they are much more expensive. .

I personally use a dlp as I need details and do not need to print big items. .

This is a tutorial I did long ago and it concerns the operation of that in my possession.

thank you so much for the info!
I personally work for a studio of architects who would need to print sample plastics to expose to customers, went to the store and printed me a plastic of a house made very well (I'm sure the details of the windows were not done well but all in all the house there was and of good quality).
the problem is that I absolutely don't know anything about how a 3d printer works and in their store they give me a mini course on how it works, technical assistance and a detailed manual to set all the various settings of the program, so I don't think I will buy a 3d printer online, not having much time to study all their operation and do tests!
how great dlp can print by curiosity?

If you've seen the relative link video you'll notice that the dlp in question is not what you need given the small size of the print area. Watch out for courses, sw and above all to say you don't have time! The latter is a fundamental element in doing things well. try to find enough to make you a specific culture. depending on the companies that sell a car that costs 1000 heuri (maybe including the course ) I think it is not "healthy ", especially if in the future you will have problems (maybe on Saturday ) and do not shoot how to move. fdm printers are very simple to use, (even to build in kits) - few centimeters of euri cost - and there are a thousand forums where you can draw every information about sw (many open source) and what else. I would definitely recommend you to start with this type of printer, but I think in the future it is necessary to go on something more professional (ink jet) on this forum if you look well there is a user of which I do not remember the name selling a used little that I think is ad hoc for you. Have fun!

hi to all I bought the printer from them and Friday I put myself to make several tests, if I can post some photos!
I have to say that the first impact was problematic (I didn't know what the hell to do), fortunately they gave me a manual made by them and I got away with it!
the printer print well (for now I only took the pla but they told me that print also abs and nylon), has the heated plan that helps and is very quiet (besides beautiful aesthetically)!
for now with the manual I am doing it without problems as soon as I have other news or doubts will make me feel, thanks to all for the previous answers =)

Well cmq I think can be useful for the forum a description of the used sw and other details.. We're waiting!

Hello.
I have just published, for those interested, a complete guide to 3d printers for commercial personal use and in advanced design phase (165 models). the guide contains synthetic cards with characteristics and - where available - indicative prices of printers. The list of professional and industrial 3d printers will also be published in the coming weeks.
the guide can be consulted at the link http://www.sharemind.eu/wordpress/?page_id=726

Hi.
the pla is quite easily distinguishable from the aps: is slightly translucent, while the aps is totally opaque.
the two filaments have different melting temperatures (c.a. 210-230° for the abs and c.a. 180° for the pla).
to avoid deformations during printing, a heated plan (c.a.110°) is almost indispensable for the abs (c.a.60°).
there are then a series of shortcomings to avoid the detachment of the part. you can find a number of tips in the following article on my blog.

the advantage in buying abroad is undoubtedly relevant and I too can only acknowledge and confirm it.
Unfortunately there are also disadvantages and one of the main ones is technical assistance in case of failure.
Trust me, this trend of cheap printers is obvious that it cannot provide too many guarantees, and when the quality of support is also unsatisfactory .!

this my experience obviously

p.s. unless you have a renowned brand with an impressive network!!

It's the classic i3 r2 that we propose too, for hobbyists it is great, for a technical office but I would say maybe something better you can think...
