3d vision

is just a curiosity, and the search in the forum did not give me results. among other things is quite new: nvidia has put on the market a 3d vision kit, in practice blue and red goggles for stereoscopic vision (like 3d films, to understand us). with the latest drivers you can activate it from the nvidia control panel and then think about the graphics card to make the 3d stereoscopic. my pc, despite an 8800gtx is poor (I have not seen and a monitor suitable to hear them). I tried to activate it on my colleague's pc and actually the option for stereoscopic vision is there, but even if the active for solid edge does not happen anything. I imagine that at least the screen begins to flicker because I have two images that alternate quickly.
Has anyone ever tried this?

look, from what I understood (I read just now something on the 3dvision), the driver activates alone, but I think it controls at least if the 3d kit of the glasses is installed (not to mention the screen >120hz)

the controls do them, and mine does not pass (!). but at least in mine does not even appear the option. in other pcs yes, but it does not go the same, perhaps because they actually do not have a monitor 120 hz. However the glasses are the classics red/blue, maybe better than the Chinese ones from 5 euros the package from 100, but always colored lenses are, so besides not to see them very suitable for a professional use, I do not see how they can notice their actual presence. I can see it because I get a headache.
I was just curious to know if it worked out from someone and how it was found (resetting a set disappeared a vine and found that it was behind her head...:biggrin

In fact on the home pc (win7x64 and nvidia gtx295) there is a section nle control panel to enable and test the 3d also for vision discovery!
the problem is that I don't know where to find the goggles (although I think they are the classic red/cyan ones).
on the site nvidia seems to give them only bundled with the cards or at the fairs:frown:
As soon as I find a pair I try! :biggrin:

from what their glasses say are optimized to not spoil colors lets you say. If you want to do some tests the Chinese sell them to 5 euros the package from 100, one thing so
They could also activate it for xp, I don't think it would have been impossible. Anyway I wait for the st4 to switch to w7...
