Hello.
Excuse the stupid question, but how can I make a cross section of a plate with screws? After selecting the solids first and then the 3points of the section plan I can still not dissect.
I see the word "unconsistent containment of the intersection curve.

but do you want to get a solid section or a solid section? (which are 2 different things)

if you can attach a dwg with only plate, screws and section position.

thanks for the answers. in the end I solved but the problem that autocad blocks often and that sometimes not allow me to use some commands persist. maybe some operations weigh too much the file? Now for example I have to make a simple 3d of a perforated panel, (I have attached the image) and as far as I know I have to use the "beam" command to get the holes. but after a number of subtractions it gives me error:_ the maximum number of chronology nodes in a solid would be exceeded. it is recommended to convert the solid into a block representation_
I don't know what that means.
Is there an alternative way to create blanks?

by setting the solidhist variable to 0 you can make your dwg files (containing edited 3d solids) a bit shorter.
in a default setting, autocad saves the editing history of 3d solids - i.e. the individual creator-objects (intersection, subtract...) for easier later re-editing. if you don't need this history, you can disable it using solidhist, with the brep command or through the "history" setting in the properties window (ctrl+1)
