Good morning to all, I have to make an extruded cut, it gives me the preview everything ok, when I confirm I cut the extruded an abnormal way. . .
Any advice?
Thank you.

it would have been nice that I had grabbed the image with the feature manager.
there are settings for what you need to do, maybe...

attach the file we look at.

here is the original file, maybe the design is too complex better to do it twice?
moved sketch on a plane, which I created, slightly detached from the object that must affect.
Look at the options I used.

managed great.. .

another question... .
If you want to make a bevel radius 3 all around the perimeter of the base.. .

I had to settle for a bevel variable radius 1.2

the fitting you have to do it before the extruded cut (you can do it even later but it is complicated to explain by writing it).
I created the 3mm fitting, then I cut with depth 1 mm.
If you don't want to have any problems and make the cut 1.5 mm deep, you have to change the sketch slightly in the area I put you in the photo, if not the cut creates separate bodies.

I use 2011, I tried to make the bevel before but it gives me error after in the cut even if I do it from 1mm
If I had the file I'd better understand

Sure, but if mike did it with 2012 you can't open it even with 2011, it takes 2012 or later.

@alex37, update your forum profile, you can't confuse ideas by writing that you have swx 2007....
in the pc at home I have both 2011 and 2012, if I was aware of the real version that you had modified the part already with the right program.
It wouldn't have cost me anything.
a little collaboration.
Tonight, if you have the patience to wait, I will post the file in swx version
compatible.

I've been trying to see where I'm wrong, I've seen that you took out the plan that had previously been created in offset and did the sketch on the top floor, I made the same changes on my file, but it gives me error of geometries that no longer exist...
I was wondering if you modified the sketch, or there is a system to get it coupled to a shape of the extruded before fittings and cuts, entering your sketch sees that on the tree some of the works are gray as if the sketch refers to the initial extrusion. . .
Am I right? Where?

Have you tried to look at the reports?? ?
Have you tried to search the guide what that message means??
the plan that I took, had been put for a reason, not by chance, now it no longer serves, but it is obvious that you escaped.
I made you a video, look at it and draw conclusions.
(download the three files and disappear)
