Hi, I'm trying to make my first renderings, and I wanted to know if it's normal for windows to appear completely opaque in the realistic view setting? Since the rendering gives me the same result, I am trying to trace back to the problem from the origin.
Thank you.
I tried to insert a window downloaded from this forum next to my window window and, with my wonder, the external light regularly enters the building! I don't understand. the material is the same for the two windows, but it behaves differently for each of them!
thanks tristan for the answer. Unfortunately my file is very heavy, as it is a complex project, but I tried to make the reverse attempt: I created (very fast and without too many frills) a new project pertaining from the example file made available in the forum (I apologize the author, but I do not remember the name), in which I pasted my infamous French door and there it works correctly. It sucks anyway because, I repeat, I did not take care of the details, but so much so that the external light filters correctly through the glasses.
what could be the problem with my file at this point?
solved: I did nothing but transfer and overwrite the materials from the above mentioned example model to mine. certainly is some setting that is above my poor knowledge of revit.
thanks anyway for the attention.
Good work for everyone.
