Hello, everyone.
Is there anyone who has experience on advanced ceramic materials?
In particular, beyond the physical characteristics I would like to know how they are obtained.
for sintering, moulding, removal, and whether it is an economically feasible solution for small series 100/200 pieces:smile:

both materials are reported by a kind of cannon that shoots the material to be reported on the affected surface. idem for tungsten carbide.
after the reporto you perform a rectification + lappatura to obtain a very low roughness.

are very useful carryovers to increase wear resistance.

I was interested more than the carryover of material the integral realization of the piece, however thanks for the link will certainly be useful to other applications:finger:

silicon nitride, silicon carbide, cermet... I know only these, however on the internet there is a lot of material on these.. try to take a look at I hope I've been helpful bye.

depends on what you have to do, there are many different methods, and change depending on the material and shape of the artifact. If you still care (the post I see that is a bit dated) you could give me some extra details and I see if I can help you.. .
