advice for software rendering

Hello everyone,

are undecided on which software to buy to make quality rendering.
currently working on mac platform (double core machine) and use archicad for 2d designs of residential buildings and some 3d but with poor quality graphic results, of the type rendering of the 1990s.

Considering everything you see around in advertising signs, agencies and shops, I would also like to make it a good level. (I don't realize internal)

according to you, what would be more suitable for my needs and for the software and hardware I used at the moment?

artlantis is a great choice .. I use it for a long time and I find myself well.

Can you make quality renderings like demos program? with regard to the elements to be inserted (objects) of the type trees, textures, people, etc., you have to buy them separately or are already in the program?

objects must be purchased separately and are very rich bookcases. However, there are other free options to download on the net. for now I use those that are quite effective. if you do a short research you will see that it will not be difficult to find these objects.
the quality is very good if you know how to use it well but already a neophyte succeeds in obtaining good results. Of course there are software that do best (in the eyes of the very experts) but also the purchase price of the latter is far more thick! !

If we talk about architectural rendering, what I see on the posters etc is often not that it is very different from the renderings "of the 1990s" :d

I suggest you do some tests with maxwell, but whatever rendering engine you will use try it first, the rendering engine of archicad is anything but poor, especially for outdoors, so you may be " disappointed" as well as others

the most important point is to understand if you want to make a project in archicad and make it for well with the minimum of steps, or "do everything" in another software to reach photorealism and greater detail wealth (often useless imo)

the easiest thing for me would be to do 3d with archicad, since I use the program also for 2d design, and then, as you said that the rend of archicad is poor, improve model 3d with some program that gives me excellent results.

I said that the rendering of archicad is not poor, it is based on lightworks that is a more than good engine, see examples here: http://www.lightworkdesign.com/compimage?compentryid=80I have seen the renderings made with artlantis, very interesting, but I would not be fooled too much by the interior that make it good because they are rich in objects made ad hoc.

maxwell is an excellent engine well integrated with archicad, I recommend you try the demo, but it is a unbiased engine therefore probably slower. artlantis is integrated and the results are excellent I would say, I don't know how much it costs...

artlantis is rather cheap costing about 500 euros for the version r and about 900 for the studio version.

as I repeat the software for rendering I would only need to perform external views because I do not make furniture or interior views.
