Hello everyone,
I address the community of cad3d for advice. I would like to download one of those programs that allow you to make tree models by selecting the "seed", height and other parameters. I gave a last one to the results of google but I can not orient myself between the various names that are proposed: plant study, 3d tree maker etc.
for me it would be ideal a quite intuitive program and that allow me to create trees that can be imported in 3d studio max 9.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
thanks for reading and any answers.
good week at all

Hi, you could buy an evermotin package with trees, they are very beautiful even if really heavy to handle, I use those.

Hi, thanks:smile:
do you refer to the models already ready for sale on the site evermotion.org?
I have actually seen on the web models of very beautiful trees (although I do not believe that my computer would manage its weight), however I thought that a program that creates plants, allowing the user to set in person a set of parameters, could offer a wide range of possibilities.
In the exercise that I am carrying out, for example, I start from a state of fact in which the plantations have precise measures, and I would like that in rendering such measures were at least approximately respected.
What do you think?
Thank you.

hi, the models of the evermotion are scalable, so you decide the size of the trees, then display them in box and copy them by making the instances (instance) not to make the scene weigh too much.:finger:

Thank you all. I'm beginning to try out the free programs reported by enri. I'm going to do some tests with all the methods you've reported to me so I'm supposed to figure out what I'm best with.
good afternoon to all

guard qui, South blog di xfrogThere are 130 free plants!
click on the individual plants and on the right there is a link with "free download" on the format that interests you, including 3ds.

Hello, excuse the late answer but for a few days I had trouble connecting.
I have sent the link of this discussion to my classmates, so together we can scan all the various solutions you have indicated to me and form our idea on what is best to do.
Thanks again
