advice working methodology with autocad in smart working

Currently in the office we use autocad 2020/21 lt; lately the demands of part of the staff to work from home are increasingly frequent.
apart from using teamviewer to access your machine, uncomfortable as death for work dynamics in general, I wondered what was the best way to manage the cad part ... since we use xrif with absolute loss on network disks (we can assume that letter x: contains jobs) how do I make our environment accessible to home users?
drawings like many of you know are not as simple word documents that in the majority of cases have no externally linked references, external autocad references are fundamental in our way of working.
from home is a real birth to manage references (sometimes even heavy), the first ones that come to mind are:
1) the first is that the designs open and close continuously so even if in vpn with the net disks set properly on the machine "home" the bottle neck is always the connection.
2) the second reason is the management of autocad licenses.... how do you do if a user works with their own pc and not on that company?

I hope I'm not the only one with these problems I wait for your lighting.

You must necessarily use a cloud. a good is onedrive because unlike for example of google drive or dropbox supports symlinks very well, so you can sync an external folder to that root of the cloud system, making him believe he's syncing an internal folder.

Basically, remote clients will see the server structure replicated on their local disk. the thing is feasible with acceptable commitment only if the structure of the folders on the server is pretty orhydrated, then it would be good to have the fiber on both sides, but also with the adsl at 7 or 20 mega you can work.

I understand.... it's still a challenging thing because currently the server in question is about 1.5tb and if the user has a laptop I see it hard.
I mean, there's no other way. if you do not have a ftth 1gb on both fronts.

If you have floating licenses you can access the license server via vpn.

I mean, there's no other way. if you do not have a ftth 1gb on both fronts.

But you don't have to sync all 1.5 tb. I on the cloud have about 16 gb of files, of which 4-5 also not strictly necessary.

I synchronize only ongoing projects and library files, so management is efficient and fast.
