I'm a mechanical engineering student and I'm doing a thesis with adams...I'm still learning how to use the program and I have a small problem that I don't know how to solve.
I should calculate for a suspension that I created, the lever ratio that would be, in this case, equal to: shifting at the top of the wheel/setting of the spring. Through the measure command I can calculate both the first and the second shift, but nn know how to calculate the ratio... would you know how to help me?

Thanks for the help you gave me.
I immediately tried the function, but I have some doubts about the result...my measurement lasts twenty seconds but it gives me the results only for the first 5...I tried to change the movement speed of 5 times thus making a measurement of 4 seconds of duration, but it continues to give me the result on 5 seconds... did I miss something?

What does simulation mean to last 20 seconds? that you simulated for 20 seconds? If yes, the other sizes that you can plot, stop at all 5 seconds? If yes, then the system stops and adams stops the simulation.

but when you see animation, you see only 5 what happens for the first 5 seconds?
If yes, then, as I told you, maybe the mechanism crashes or after 5 seconds, maybe you defined non-continuous/impossible functions. If you see the solver's error message, you should have good indications of what happened.

after so much effort I managed to solve the problem regarding the duration of the simulation, or at least believe.se in the measuring/function function window I follow the command plot gives me the right result, if I execute the apply command gives me the value 0 along the entire measurement arc. . .
However the solver never gave me error messages.
