Greetings to everyone!
I just joined this forum, as for several months, for some problems I found the answers here. But now I would need a hand with the use of these software.
I have just begun to study them and use them, as they will serve me for the thesis of the coming months. I am following a book (a sort of guide for patran/nastran) with different exercises: but I have a problem in the first...
premise: the version I use is 2005 (a little old, but this I had).
now the exercise is simple: rectangular beam, with ink, under a simple vertical force and I have to analyze it.
created the analysis file with patran, I have to analyze it with the nastran: the latter should create different files: .f04; .f06; .log; .op2.
The point is that it does not create me the .op2; while the .fs result from 0 kb (but I do not know if it is a mistake, even if I am afraid of yes)... so I cannot proceed with the view of the analysis data.
I have checked my guide several times, following several times all the steps, but I can't come to the head of the problem.
If someone more experienced knows how to get over it would do me a big favor: I attached the three files I created.
If you need other data, ask (considering that they are at first arms, however :biggrin
