analysis of stress of a set

Today is the first day I am using inventor professional 2009 and there are many doubts that afflict me!! the main is how do a static analysis of a multibody body?; For example if I have two rods connected with a hinge after building the axieme of the two bodies how do I make any static analysis of the axieme?? ? I'm sorry for the stupid question, but I'm self-taught and I'm at first sight.

thanks for the answer; Anyway, I have to do it for work. I have to do the structural analysis of a saddle carrier. the cad design has already been done but I can't understand how to do the analysis of the whole, I managed to make it only of the individual parts but I have found that they do not resent one of the presence of the other. I know the fem analysis enough but so far I used only abaqus and nastran, I'm trying to figure out how inventor reasons. I looked for other answers on the web where they said that the editions before 2010 do not analyze a set :s possible??? to implement a model as described previously in the post how should I proceed? ? Thank you.
