Hey, guys.

I wanted to ask if any of you use the pro-engineer model check.
working in modeling parts with increasingly complex plastic components, I would be useful to do an analysis of thickness, shape and subsquadri if possible. But I don't know how it works. . .especially the analysis of the thickness that would be very useful for and to avoid withdrawal zones and problems on the molds.

Thank you very much.

Hi.

purtoppo pro/e has a verification of the thicknesses, if it is what I have seen, ridiculous.
on the market there are other software that already in the basic package allow a real verification of the thicknesses, but are not free.
Does anyone know how to tell me if you've ever found free software to allow such an analysis?

Thank you very much

I agree that the verification thickness of pro and is ridiculous but you also have to fall that pro and not born to do that...
to have what you are looking for, you have to go to software like Moldovaflow, visits etc..., it's their own bread.
clearly I'm anything but free

modeling I do it with proes while deforming analyses and checking the thicknesses I let you do to solidworks through the puzzle rather than step.
I am not satisfied with this.

I do this with pro/e and I don't think there are any particular problems.
Thickness analysis I never used it... so I'm not able to express judgments.
