Hello.
I am a student of pisa ing and I am doing the project of a scooter variator and I press that I use ansys v12 for the first time. arrived at the sizing of the fixed front pulley, I must be able to apply the pressure and tangential load of the belt on the surface of the pulley but in ansys I can not "direct" where to put the pressure... you can select all the face of the pulley.
someone knows how to specify:"I want this pressure exactly on this portion of surface."
Thank you very much

I don't know ansys well but I think you can divide the surface from the geometric point of view and then give the pressure on the surface piece you created..if you can't with ansys created math with a cad you know better
