hello to all, have any of you ever modeled antivibration engine supports in abaqus (I use 6.11.2)?
I believe that it is fundamentally possible to model them as spring/dashpot connectors (or jointc) or directly modeling the material.
my perplexity is: where do I find the characteristics of stiffness, damping, etc. to be inserted in abq?
I have to compare commercial antivibrants to be able to choose the most suitable one, but each manufacturer gives personal information and different from others (e.g. rigidity=f(load), transmissibility=f(load, frequency), etc.).
in literature is something indicative, but I have to deal with the product on the market that I go to buy!
thanks for your suggestions
