Hello everyone,
I'm new to community. I am an engineering student struggling with the first project in ansys v11. I want to apply a compression force of 3000 n inside the biella foot loop. the software allows to impose forces only on keypoints or nodes (force>on keypoints) and I wanted to know if it was possible to set this force as "pressure" on line or area to be selected (pressure>on area or >on line), setting as value the force divided the extension of the selected area, so as to get pa or mpa. for the line would I get n/mm or n/m?? is it correct to proceed like this? thanks in advance
