area in section

Hello everyone,
I wanted to know how to calculate the area of a local in section. I'll explain. I have a attic and, in autocad I calculated the average height by making a polyline on the perimeter and dividing the area so created for the length of the base. Can you use a similar method in revit? Thank you.

I should give you reason, but unfortunately I have all the "packed" volumes. I must have made some mess with levels, it's all up and down this house (and it's my first revit project)!
I'm checking graphically to make a check. for now I have reconstructed it in autocad and I have verified so, but I wanted to know if you could do directly in revit.
