I think you're off the road.Artificial intelligence. a term that today goes very fashionable, has a not know what science fiction, almost magical. And yet what is imaginary artificial intelligence? It would be nothing more than that thing that until yesterday they had algorithm, but it didn't do well, it wasn't cool. algortimo. the other one yesterday instead we called it software and the other still yesterday was called very generic computer.
an algorithm is the exact opposite of artificial intelligence. in computer science an algorithm is a sequence of operations and one of its main features is to be repeatable. Artificial intelligence is characterized by strong non-linearity compared to both its domain and its internal state. is therefore absolutely not repeatable.
Artificial intelligence had a first boom in the 1960s with experienced systems, evolution of the first perceptron networks. It was a total failure for several reasons that I am not here to deepen. today has returned to auge for various other reasons that if you want to deepen.
an adaptive change can be achieved either through artificial intelligence, or through a model-based algorithm, where perhaps the model has parameters of adaptive estimate. are two different techniques with pros and cons that reach more or less the same objective.
It's not marketing. I mean, there's also a lot of marketing, but I wouldn't throw the baby away with dirty water.
