Good day to all,
after a little study on books, help of solidworks and tutorials I would like to ask you a question.
My main problem is the meshatura I never know if it's okay or not.
I found material (even shigley talks about it altogether) and video tutorials.
I have therefore come to the result that a meshatura is considered (perfect if ar=1) reliable if for structural calculations the ar<3 while for thermal analysis ar<5 (this data is found in variable network, the de that I have put are the two most restrictive).
the aspect ratio is nothing but the relationship between the greater distance and the smaller distance between the knot and the base of the most distorted "triangolino".

if I have not been clear I will take you back to this video: :smile:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cogbem7stytherefore I take my particular-> meshatura-> control the max aspect ratio. Now I don't know what the parameter on which I have to act to improve this relationship in solidworks simulation.
Would anyone know?
I also don't find any material related to adaptive methods would you tell me where I can find it?

Thank you:

What do you use, elements like p or h? the type p are spying: by default on the wildfire the aspect ratio is 30, the elements can be very deformed etc. etc. and it is led to believe that they give high solutions. But they work very well.

The idea I've done is this: try on models of which you know the theoretical solution, do tests. change a parameter, see how the voltage changes, do optimization analysis etc. etc. There is a share of field experience that tells you how to set up the model and where you can be swallowed. It's an undeleteable internship.
