Good morning, everyone!
I have followed a discussion some time ago, only now I can put my hand back on the project "folders".
I put the idea quickly:
create on model a block with attributes for the general data of the project (e.g. location, client, etc.) valid for each table.
create a block to use in the layout, duplicating the layout from time to time to create new tables, which will have:
  1. text fields that refer to the attributes of the block on pattern, so that changing them there, they change in each table (All right here).
  2. attributes for specific table data (e.g. table number, table title, etc.).
this would be well feasible, if only generic data (so text fields) and specific ones (value of attributes) should not be in the same text line. I had tried to make these last attributes invisible, then putting in the same text string generic fields and fields related to the invisible attributes, but the latter do not update. I then realized that fields of attributes in the same block do not work, and then removed the invisible attributes from the paper block and, on layout outside the block, text boxes for specific table data.
at this point in the block there are: fields for generic texts, as before, and fields for specific texts, associated with the text box in layout.
Now it all works, but when I add the layout, the fields of specific texts refer to the first layout, and not to the text boxes in the duplicate layouts.
allego for practicality dwg of this last solution.
What ideas do you have to solve? Thank you so much!

good morning, it is normal that after a copying a text field will refer to its source object on the first layout.
We should redefine the new field to a new object, and I doubt we can solve it with a simple lisp.
