Hello everyone,
I have designed a profile of a 16'' car rim and now I have to do the parameterization so that I can get bigger wheels (17', 18'' etc etc) automatically. I press that the sketch is completely defined, that I have followed all the norms and that I have in possession of the table of the various quotas fundamental for the various sizes of the circles...now, how do I have to do to make the parameterization? I know that you have to set the equations for fundamental quotas, but I can't figure out what to set them up.
thanks in advance

the size of the races, the width of the circle everything will be proportioned. So there will be guotes that are in proportion to the rest of geometry according to equations, the number of holes, the number of races... everything you want.

I know, but I didn't understand how to set the equations; i.e. when you click on a quota and "add equation" appears to you: "quote name@schizzo1 = ... ". knowing that for me that certain quota in the 16 ring is 380,2mm to what do I have to equal it?? I understand

I sneak into the conversation asking politely where I can find the norms containing the fundamental quotas of the circles....
I should also draw the channel of a rim for a bike....

you can search for e.t.r.t.o. standards manual

I think you're not looking for equations but you should make a configuration for each rim measure.
to get a variant you have multiple methods, using configurations or saving a copy of the part and then changing it. the convenience of one or the other solution depends on what you have to do with these circles, so without getting too far I would use the configurations.

so if we start with the configurations you have to go to the configuration manager (last tree) and create the new configurations that interest you, even one at a time.
once the new config is created. (example 18) start editing the odds (double click), put the new value and before confirming choose that the change is related to the config and not to all (last icon at the bottom right in the popup of the quota).
a more rapid method to make some of it all at once and that lends itself a lot to your case is with the data tables. always act on the config, but go to create a table in excel where each row will be a circle and each column will be a share to edit. I'm not here to explain, I'd be long, boring and less complete with the online guide, so in the help and you should find everything you need.

Hi.

but also in my opinion must make configurations, perhaps with the excel sheet in swx so that you can have the values of geometry and number holes etc automatically, but for example will change the races and perhaps not proportional
