autocad 2010 crashes with 3d orbit command

Good morning to all,

My brother bought a hp pavillon computer with 8 gb of ram , i7 , video card dedicated by 2 gb ati , and I installed autocad 2010 at the beginning all right, for a month is finding the following problems while running the 3d orbit command and preparing to turn the object the program freezes and requires the start of the application , or when choosing the 3frame wire view.

Now I wonder, is it a video card problem, or a computer program or something?

I hope someone can tell me the right solution.

ps: Also last week with this issue in place I decided to update the drivers of the dedicated video card, but the same problem has not been solved, and when I try to make an autocad update I am blocked by a message that indicates that it is impossible to download update as I am not enabled to do this change.

But I don't think there's any compatibility between windows 7 and autocad 2010 I don't think it solves anything you don't think?

I don't know. Do you have a license for 2014? If yes, mount that!

mah, in all sincerity I did not know this official limit of 2010 on 7 x64.
I quietly installed it and more with an old amd card. I just changed sk. video (amd per amd) and I keep not finding any problems.
also my relative, with a portable hp win7 x64 and sk video firepro (so amd) installed 2010 (obviously in x64 version) without problems.
But if Mom autodesk says that there's little to discuss. even if to ensure compatibility with view and npon with 7 is a beautiful wedge on the feet.

p.s. but the minimum equipment reported by mother autodesk, is it not that it is referred to the s.o. available at the time of release of the program?
I mean... difficult that autodesk can say "autocad 2014 - minimum requirements windows black tiger" when the s.o. "black tiger" will be released in 2016... :biggrin:

never had a problem. also autodesk heads its products with hp workstations and nvidia cards

Well this is definitely the policy of all softhouses, but not only for untested products:wink:. always declare it in licenses. exemption from damage caused, the soft is sold "as is" etc. etc.
in all cases one thing is "or the go or the split", another is not compatible. for my experience. win7 64 and card (piu d'una) amd la 2010 spins smoothly. It means that it's the joker car that has problems, not the outline conditions.
