"Save by name" or in the properties of the dwg (exploring resources) remove the check from the read-only attribute.

I'm gonna do a swing at the mods...

but are these questions not prohibited anywhere in the regulation?

I mean... Something like this:
"I put my feet in the fireplace on. I'm getting hot. What do I do? "
Are they not sanctionable?

Young man, I went to an ophthalmological visit in the evening. Now I connect, and with still the eyes dilated by the atropine, I read this!!!! the pupil has spread even more to me!!! !
also to respond to juseppe, such questions are deleted (as is the case, but I leave it momentarily only for example of "register") or rarely blocked (in addition to measures or calls deprived to the user).

with the risk of becoming boring, antipatic and repetitive I repeat that you need an autocad course!! You can't ask such questions!

hello to all
I find myself a huge problem.
I apologize in advance because maybe it's a noobate, but I can't get out of it.

when I send jobs with autocad 2013 open my file, edit it create lines do what they have to do, then they go to save and opens a window saying: file protected by writing.I went to the file, right click, options - properties and tells me that the file is not protected by writing. (the same I sent by email, of course)
I tried to cuff on options, but I find nothing relevant about this problem. especially in the tab (open and save)
of options - maybe I was superficial and did not select something?

to come to the head of everything I try to send the file(incriminate) from my laptop to my pc fixed cn autocad(all 2013) and I have no problem to open it and save it.
useless to say that sn saved with the .dwg of 2000 (so they have to open it by force all)

solutions that I find on the internet and sopratt on this forum:
save by name, move and rename the file to remedy the problem.
When I suggest to those who can save the file, it tells me that nnn can do it, because while clicking "save by name" opens the window saying that it is impossible because file protected by writing -
Immagine.webp (I apologize for the quality of the image, but this was sent to make me understand the error. )
does not open the resource explore window.

useless to say that the file is not opened by any other program and that is absolutely not protected by writing.
I certainly hope I've done a crap. Please help me get over these 5 mins from "co.... "

the real problem is: I don't know if I'm with some setting or it's him.
he claims to open other dwg that send him without problems

I have absolute necessity to solve this problem, because so I can really work.
I expect your answers (if you can or if you want) as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance.
Andrea

he opens with autocad2010 (not that maybe it is relevant. ..but... )

the things that come to my mind, in order:

1) do not open the dwg directly from the mail, but save it in a folder and aprirlo da autocad2) options\open and save\charge at the request of xrif -> enabled with copy3) to extreme evils... copy all content in a new dwg and save

I'm waiting for an answer from who nn can open the file.
in fact reading on the internet various answers (always less relevant) my say: open cad and then the file.

I noticed that when I sent my laptop file to my fixed, I opened it without problems.
However I went to open the file, right-click ---> options ---> general tab and read-only file was not active
But you're telling me to "noise the block" but block what? I canceled.

all this to say: maybe it could also be that those who receive the file can use this way as well.
the fact is that it remains absolutely uncomfortable. especially if you are working.

xrif: I tried to change ttt, from active to disable etc etc., I did not find differences (maybe mistaken)
now anyway I return it "activated with copy"

I tried to copy with reference, paste as block all the design done in a new .dwg
the problem remains.
So I assume it's my way of saving wrong.
he can open other dwgs of other colleagues.
However I send the files (incriminati) but I can do everything without problems! !

thanks to the prompt response gp :biggrin:

I'll tell you when I get to it.
also because I find no logic in cad ne with windows for this problem. I really don't know if I have to put my hands on cad options or anything.

Do you send the .dwl and/or .dwl2 file together with the dwg?
No no, I only sent the .dwg I don't need to ship anything else from .dwg
(by far the file (by autocad) is saved in autocad 2000 and then not succeeding it to open it I sent the one of 2010 = the same that he has)

Ah... therefore

who receives:
opens the file ---> (cad says: read-only file or already running)
ok ----
opens the drawing, sees it ---> goes on options ---> open and save ---> select "activate it with copy"
apply and save ---> (Saved Taxes)

try to change and save. . .
What are xrifs? What does that mean? the question arises spontaneous because it is the first time that such a mistake happens... I hope I can solve this with this change.
Thanks again

he sets "charge at the request of xrif = activated with copy" and Then opens the dwg

Oh, that's not what this is about.

But... let me understand. . .
who receives the file (by e-mail) saves it somewhere or opens it directly from autluk (or what it uses to see mail) ?? ?
