hi to everyone, I just updated the software and I am using autocad mechanical with the technometal application.

at the moment no problem to use teconmetal on this version of autocad, but if start technometal, only the controls of autocad and not the mechanical ones are loaded.

do you know how to use mechanical autocad controls with technometal?

thanks to all

I think it's more of a technometal problem that doesn't recognize the mechanical application... I wouldn't know where to act, as long as it's possible... Magare between options... But maybe you should ask those who give you technometal support (or here on the sub-forum "altri cad for mecanica")

according to my knowledge is normal since mechanical is an application for autocad as is technometal, prosteel. then start autocad with the extra technometal menus.

Good morning, everyone. Sorry, but mechanical is not an application, in the sense that, if so would have a separate installation from autocad, which is not. Anyway... .installed mechanical, you will have installed technometal (sorry! :p) if "see" only tech controls, it does not mean that mechanical is not loaded...it is impossible being its platform. means simply that the menus are not loaded. if you have mech in Italian write in the command line carmenu, otherwise, if in English menuload. a mask will open. above see the uploads and below you can load. on the bottom, "cut", go to c:\documents and settings [Bleep]\user\data applications\autocad 20*\r*\ita\support and load the *.cui or *.cuix file you need. the default autocad is called acad.cuix. and do "load". I hope I've solved something...

the fact that you a unique installation is because in its time autodesk acquired the genius application for autocad that became mechanical. just see the gen suffix that for example precedes the names of the blocks created with the _amdetail command.
if technometal during installation goes to configure the autocad base there will be no mechanical commands.

then the attempt you say you can always do, but opening mechanical and looking for technometal .cui! :finger:
