Hello, everyone.

I enrolled in a pointnet autocad course.

from agreements, the course start date was the x date, but in the never when I was confirmed the beginning of the course tell me that the course will start on x+80 days.

on the contract indicate that pointnet srl undertakes to activate the course within and no more than 90 days from the date provided, so they are still in the right; However I had pressed the seller several times and he had assured me that we would start on date x.
when I asked him about that "enter and no more than 90 days" he told me that it was only because they could create vicissitudes (for example if the palace in which they have headquarters or other catastrophic events collapsed) so they could have postponed the beginning.

Given this obvious defaillance of theirs, I was wondering if there was anyone who had already had to deal with them and could tell me whether they are reliable or not.
Does the course really start? Do you really care about the location? are punctual with dates (start and end course)? Is the course really all the Saturdays or they start doing a Saturday yes and one no?

I don't know this "pointnet" that is one of the many companies in the industry. so I am not surprised that in the forum there are no active memebers who have had experience with them.
Please note that training courses are not very required (in proportion to the number of users cad), and therefore, it happens that the smaller centres have difficulty finding the minimum number of participants. In these cases of course they begin to spread the start in an attempt to remedy other members.

Alternatively, you could have evaluated if you found someone to give you a personal course, a cad expert, wrapped up even the same ones who do courses for schools. someone keeps online courses in video conferencing.
teach 1 to 1, which is better, and often costs equal.

how much does the course cost? How many hours of class? How many are you in court? Do they let you use their cars with autocads on it?

the course has been for 56 hours, distributed in 4 hours lessons. the cost is, altogether, about 1500€ (about 25-30€ per hour).
we are maximum 8 weights in the classroom and each has its posting with autocad above. classrooms are nice and the conditions are decent: in the price is included the cost to support ecdl cad exam, a autocad manual and a copy of the program for "home use" .
the problem is that the seller, cute cute, swore to me and reassured several times that the course would start in date x, except then communicate to me by email that "we confirm that the course will leave on date x+80 days, let us know what are the ways in which you intend to make the payment".
It bothers me, because if you tell me that she's going back to May, you should also tell me "don't worry I'll pay you back in May."

the price is not really cheap. the am4, that I have never used, but I think they are among the best in Italy, sell the autocad course from 36 hours to 850+iva, total certification autodesk.

as you say the price is reasonable: 25-30 euros/hour is the cost of any private lesson, moreover with the convenience of a place to do the course, then of a "human contact".

pointnet is one of the many realities in the vast world of training. Although cad3d is the most used forum in the cad sector, probably no one had experience with them. But this does not mean anything, everything will depend on the quality of the instructor and the means made available.

Unfortunately the 80 extra days that the gentlemen of the dots have taken are still flowing, so still does not take the x time of start of the course and therefore for my opinion you will have to wait a few more months.

in the meantime I have collected some news and I can tell you that:
- at least by public accounting documents are in order, so they are actually a company that offers IT courses;

- the courses are there and are held in place (in the registered office of the course seller);

- the ecdl exam that sell you included in the course price is held in place, on their computers and are not impossible exams (they don't give them! but if you study well and practice at home, the exam will pass it);

- ecdl exam is actually a good title;

I also add:
- they give you the opportunity to pay at the beginning of the course and do not tartassano of mail or phone calls;

- many companies similar to the pointnet, which hold computer courses, time on the beginning of the courses trying to scrape as many members as possible.

altogether I can not say good or bad: I remain waiting for the start of the course and keep you updated.

second: I have not made any explicit reference to the training activity (and for my privacy I will continue not to do so), so how do you say that "the training activity, topic of discussion, is in regular conduct" ?

third: could you confirm how much I wrote above? that in fact you find yourself starting with delay because you try to collect as many as you can?
Look that there is nothing wrong, indeed, as I wrote on notoriously the courses of this type do not leave if there is no minimum number of members.
I would have long preferred that the seller had told me "the course should start the day x, but we reserve 90 days: spend the 90 days the course no longer leaves and both we that you are released from the contract".
You would be more transparent and I would have felt much quieter.

hi, I never did a course at the net point and so in that sense I can be unhelpful, but I attended a course at another company that was a disaster and unfortunately I checked the feedback only after and obviously they were all negative. Where am I going with this? if there are no positive or negative feedback.... everything ok.

the pointnet exists, works and is a serious society.
the autocad course started with 80 days delay from the expected date, but the computers that make you available work, the material that give you (book, stationery,...) is of good quality and my teacher is a very well prepared professional on autocad.
the course takes place regularly and the coordination and administration are very present.
Overall, my experience is very positive, except for the 80 days of delay that took the party a bit.
like all companies that offer training, the pointnet "offre" sometimes in organizing group activities, so my advice for anyone wishing to start a course with them is: eye to dates!
apart from this money is spent well, so you can trust that:
(a) the price is neither distorted nor excessive
b) the service is worth what you pay up to the last cent.
clearly, and I hope to write this to be obvious, it counts a lot of the commitment that you put on us: you have to practice yourself very at home! but this already knows anyone who has already drawn (hand or cad) at least 1 time in his life.
